Bikash Mohanty (Managing Partner)

Mr. Mohanty brings over 25 years of extensive litigation experience across various courts and tribunals in India, including regular appearances before the Supreme Court of India. His practice is marked by deep expertise in handling complex and high- stakes disputes across jurisdictions.

He is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association and a permanent member of the India International Centre, reflecting his standing within the legal fraternity.

Mr. Mohanty has had the privilege of working closely with Late Soli J. Sorabjee, Senior Advocate and former Attorney General for India, in many landmark matters, and particularly in relation to the Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage Bill, a significant legislative development enacted by the Indian Parliament. His involvement in this domain further extended internationally, where in 2013 he was invited by the National Diet of Japan to present his views on the comparative analysis of supplier liability in the context of nuclear damage.

In the early years of his career, Mr. Mohanty gained valuable experience working with leading law firms such as J.B. Dadachanji & Co. Debasis Nayak (Of Counsel)

Mr. Debasis Nayak has more than twenty years of experience in conducting cases relating to debt recovery, cyber and financial crimes, intellectual property, contracts and service law. He graduated in law from the Pune University in 2001. He is an empanelled counsel for the Food Corporation of India and additional Standing Counsel for Government of Orissa in Orissa High Court. He has been involved in information technology matters and compensation cases involving banks in phishing related matters and illegal wire transfers. He has conducted domain dispute cases adjudicated by WIPO arbitration panels. He has conducted public interest litigation in the Bombay High Court to remove defective standards in the Information Technology Act. His practice and research interests particularly extend to commercial litigation and arbitration, where he has worked on matters involving contractual disputes, challenges to arbitral awards, enforcement and stay proceedings, jurisdictional objections, and proceedings before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and the Hon'ble High Courts.
